Welcome to Season 2 of St.Louis Home Inspector! If you’re just joining us, be sure to check out Season 1. In Season 1, we followed St. Louis Home Inspection Services founder, Steve Sonderen, around to a few job sites, and we got to know a little bit more about St Louis Home Inspection Services. Thank you again to all of our supporters. We had some great feedback from Season 1. We’re excited to provide quality, educational content to help people learn a little bit more about the home inspection process.

There’s always the possibility of water damage, energy efficiency problems, and you even have the possibility of rodents and other wildlife using a hole in your roof to get in and create a permanent home. Of course these things are never good, but you certainly want to know about them before you buy. Steve Sonderen, Season 2

With Season 2 we are going to dive a little bit deeper into the technical aspects of home inspections. As our very clever and catchy title suggests, we will start outside and work our way in. Season 2 will feature discussion about various aspects of the exterior of a home. This will of course include landscaping and lawn, which is where we pick up in?Episode 1.

Steve Sonderen was on time, very thorough with his investigation and he made sure I understood all aspects of the project we were undertaking, he was extremely personable and was a great source of information. St. Louis Home Inspection Services Client

Water is a powerful force. We should always be aware of how the water interacts with the landscape surrounding a structure. Overtime, poor grading and drainage can lead to very expensive problems.

Thanks for joining us this week! Join us again next week for Episode 2, we’ll look at siding and gutters. Siding and gutters provide a very important barrier to the elements. Have a safe and happy St. Patty’s day weekend.
